Adding Electrical To The Island

When we get our cabinets there will

be an island in our kitchen that wasn't there before.

It is also where our cooktop will be,

so we needed electrical added.

Because the floor is concrete Greg had

to saw cut out a 3 inch strip,

add the wiring and then cover it up with more concrete.

Tile Removal

Last Friday we had all of the tile in our house removed.

All 1400 sq ft of it. It was messy, still is.

But will be so worth it to have flooring that we want!!

We moved a lot of stuff on the newly

poured concrete in the dining room and

some stuff out in the backyard.

Living Room Closet

There was a closet in the living room

of this house when we bought it.

We opened up the wall and took out the

window that was still in it,

but the closet was still here.... not anymore!

Gone and dry-wall is up!

Insulation

Last weekend Greg and Big Greg took

all the dry-wall out on the wall that the girls

share so we could add insulation for noise control.

It Takes 21 Days To Make A Habit.

Two nights ago, April 13th, we tried Maddy in her panties for bedtime.

She has been successful for both nights!!

She picked out a special treat at the store

and gets to have it every morning when s

he wakes up with dry panties, on the 22 day

we will take her to pick out a special something that she wants!!

Maddy's 3rd Birthday

Maddy is 3.

Time is flying by.

Our house is a mess, so we couldn't have a

party at our house, so we went to Peter Piper Pizza.

Maddy loves to play games and ride the rides, so it was perfect!

On Maddy's actual birthday, she got to go to the zoo with Greg.

They had lunch, went on the carousel and

spent some quality time together.

Then Grammy came over later that night to have some cake....

Maddy loves her cake and couldn't wait for Grammy to get here!

Birthday Party At 5G.

Every year there is a party at 5G for Uncle John and Jeff

since they have the same birthday.

The last time we went was April 11, 2008, the day I had Maddy!

Now they are birthday triplets, 50 years apart.

We haven't been the last two years since we were in Tucson,

but we are back and excited to be there every year now!

Last week we went to the zoo with

Meagan, Sammie and Cole!!

We were excited to get to see them

and are even more excited for more

play dates now that we are up here!!!

Windows And Trees

Two weeks ago we got the new windows

french door for our room and

it was time for the install!!!

This was a busy weekend as we got

the five palm trees cut down and

Big Greg cut down two of the citrus in the front.

All of the other windows in the house

were new when we moved in since they

are in the additions, now they are all new!
