The girls have been getting along very nicely lately....

when Maddy isn't pushing Clare off of the couch.

House Update

The girls rooms have the baseboard, crown

and now the shelves up on the walls.

Greg is going to caulk everything and

then its painting time!!!

First Day of Preschool ~ St. Mark

Our baby girl is officially in school.

I can't believe how fast time is going by!!

Maddy went to "summer school" for a few weeks during

the summer and a week of VBS so she was excited

to go back to school and see Mrs. Hulsey.

She regularly tells us that she loves Mrs. Hulsey.

I'm glad we had a few trial weeks this summer because dropping

her off on Monday was a piece of cake!!

When Greg picked her up she said that she had so much fun!!

even started to hang on the wall.....

San Diego

We headed over to San Diego for our usual vacation

2 weeks ago and got to spend 7 days days on the beach.

It was unusually chilly that week,

one day it never got above 65!!

Others were warmer, just not as warm as usual.

Here goes......

Straight out of the car to the sand and water!

Maddy is excited, Clare is unsure.

And very tired since she was awake the entire drive over.

It was awesome.

The next morning we went for a walk,

but didn't get too far since the girls wanted to play in the sand.

It was pretty funny!

One day Greg and I took the girls up to the

Scripps Aquarium in La Jolla, just like we did last year.

That afternoon was a nice one so we

actually put our suits on and went down to the water.

luckily they still fit so we got some this year!!

We went over to go sailing on Grandpas boat

(something that Maddy talks about year round)

Something broke on Grandpas boat so he borrowed

one from the marina for the girls!
