My wonderful girls.

Ready for Preschool

We registered Maddy for preschool a few weeks ago

and she wanted a backpack for when its time

for school to start, so we got one!

Could she be anymore excited?!

us a warm, yummy breakfast that was made in the oven.

What a treat!!!

Gig then helped the girls plant a garden.

I knew Gigi wanted to plant a few different gardens

with Maddy so I wanted to find a low table Maddy could work at.

We were driving home from Target and I saw

this construction table in someone's front yard

and they were getting rid of it, so I grabbed it!

Its perfect for all of her garden things

that she got for her birthday.

Maddy calls it her dirt kitchen.

After naps we headed over to my

Grandparents for dinner and running around.

Grandparents backyard on the course he built for us!!

Splash-Pad

While the tile was being removed we spent

the morning in the backyard playing.

We brought out out own little splash-pad

that Greg and I had bought last summer, but never used.

It was so cute and fun, but we had a

blow out and so we had to place bricks

on part of it to keep the water going in the right places.

Two weeks ago Maddy and Clare got to

spend the morning with cousin Leah since her Mama

was out buying a new car and didn't want to take

her along, I still don't understand why though.

Zoo With The Boys

A few weeks ago we made a trip to

the zoo with some of our friends,

Julie and her little boy Jack, and Lisa and her little boy Nolan.

We had lots of fun running around and

of course, visiting the splash pad!!

Adding Electrical To The Island

When we get our cabinets there will

be an island in our kitchen that wasn't there before.

It is also where our cooktop will be,

so we needed electrical added.

Because the floor is concrete Greg had

to saw cut out a 3 inch strip,

add the wiring and then cover it up with more concrete.

Tile Removal

Last Friday we had all of the tile in our house removed.

All 1400 sq ft of it. It was messy, still is.

But will be so worth it to have flooring that we want!!

We moved a lot of stuff on the newly

poured concrete in the dining room and

some stuff out in the backyard.

Living Room Closet

There was a closet in the living room

of this house when we bought it.

We opened up the wall and took out the

window that was still in it,

but the closet was still here.... not anymore!

Gone and dry-wall is up!

Insulation

Last weekend Greg and Big Greg took

all the dry-wall out on the wall that the girls

share so we could add insulation for noise control.
