Christmas Eve

We have a busy Christmas Eve and Christmas day
every year as we make the rounds.
Here is our summery:

Grandma, Maddy, Grandpa, Leah and Clare.

Funny!

Mad's favorite thing was Jessie.
The best part was that my Dad labeled the gift to Leah,
so when she opened it up and Maddy saw she was a little sad.....
until she realized that it really was hers!

The girls and I all got camouflage shirts!

Next we headed to the Mastin's for the annual
Christmas Eve party, and a party it was!!
There was a ton of people there this year
and we all had a great time!

Crying Clare, Ella and Maddy.

Maddy playing with Grandpa and Gigi's Toy Story friends.

Clare was NOT happy to see Santa this time around.
Sorry Uncle John!

Maddy warmed up and I think she sat at his feet the
rest of the afternoon showing him all of her Toy Story friends!

After the party we headed to my Grandparents
house for dinner, dessert and presents.

My Dad and Uncle's got them a new swing for the
veranda since the old one was falling apart.

So a little swinging with the four great-grand children.

Crying Leah, Grandpa, Maddy, Clare and Grandma with Jack.

Zoo Lights

Greg and I took the girls to zoo lights a few days
before Christmas, along with the rest of Phoenix.
Jeez.
It was crowded, very crowded and neither of us were expecting it.

We loaded the girls in the wagon all bundled
up and made a lap around the lights.
It was very pretty, but next year we'll
be going at the beginning of the month!

Wagon time.

Bundled up.

Christmas Program

On Tuesday evening we headed over
to St Mark for the Christmas program.
In the past, Maddy has been very shy and
nervous about standing at the front of the
church singing with all the people in the crowd,
so Mrs Hulsey let Maddy take her Paddington Bear
up with her and she actually sings and dances!!

Clare, Maddy and Paddington.

Up front singing.

After the singing was over with we headed
to the classroom for cookies and cupcakes!

Happy Maddy Girl and Mrs Husley.

Santa!!!

The Falca's had a happy hour last weekend and Santa was there!!!

First look.

Maddy getting ready to climb up....

Clare is happy just sitting there!!

They both did really well and we probably
could have paid for the pictures at the mall,
but I thought they would both cry.
Santa at the party was good enough for us!!

Thanks for inviting us Trina!!

Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving day we went to my Grandparents house for dinner.
I didn't take many pictures at all, but here is
Clare with some of her favorite people:

Clare and Matthew
(watching Maddy be silly).

Clare, Katie and Jack

Although she doesn't look happy in the picture,
Clare loves Jack "Gack" more than anything and
Katie is creeping up on the list of peeps she likes!

Thanksgiving At Preschool

Maddy had a little show and Thanksgiving at preschool.

Walking up to the front. Very shy...

She sat with Mrs. Hulsey for the first song and then stood,
but didn't sing, for the second song.

Our little Indian girl.

New Gates

We got some new gates put in, courtesy of 5G.
Thank you!
We still need to get the wood for the gates, but they are up and solid!

Before.

After.

Before.

After.
This gate was moved back and the old gate and brick wall were removed.

Backsplash

Greg and Gwen put up the backsplash
in just about two hours.
I took the girls to the park to get them out of the house
and when we came back it was up.
Looks awesome!

Visit From Sedona and Shae

Our friends from Boise are in town for a few
days and we got to hang out with them today!

We had lunch and played in the kitchen,
raced and chased, watched a movie and
jumped on the bed!

Shae, Maddy, Clare and Sedona.

Clare and Sedona missed their naps since there
was so much playing going on, but we did lay them
down to see if they would fall asleep.
Nope!

Clare and Sedona.

Trick or Treat

This was the first year we have taken the girls out.
Maddy was a butterfly and Clare was the same
pumpkin that Maddy was when she was 18mo or so.

We went out a little early and just went
up and down on our block. They had a lot of fun and really
got it after the third house or so! The most fun
was had when we got home and hung out
with the door open handing out candy.
Maddy was in charge and had got so excited every
time someone new came to the door!
