The BIG Girl Bed For Clare!!

Miss Clare got a big girl bed today!!
She was doing so good with the side off the crib
so we went out and got her a real bed.
No more cribs in the house!!!

After naptime this is the place to be.
Maddy plays preschool and Mommy and all sorts
of stuff and Clare is just happy to do what Maddy is doing!

Cheese.

Yeah for growing up Sissy!

Apple Banquet

Maddy's school had an apple banquet on Friday.
Everyone had to bring in some apples to make a group
apple pie that morning and we all had to bring
in a pre-made dish a little later in the morning.
After some yummy apple foods we got to go
in to the classroom and watch them participate
in a group activity and then they did a few some and dances.
It was cute!

Clare checking out the board.

This is what she was looking at.
Mrs. Hulsey told me that Maddy made her wash
the dirt off the worm before she would hold it!!

Maddy holding hands with her friend Marcus.
Shy after she spotted us waiting for her.

My beautiful girl.

Hanging with her other pal, Jackson.

Helping with the class activity.

Group song about Herman the worm.
Very cute!

Clare played Mommy the entire time we were in there.
She would go to school today if she was able!

Play-Doh.

I got the play-doh out the other morning so we could play.
Clare promptly ate the blue.
As soon as I got it all off of her tongue and
out from in between her teeth
she took a bite from the purple.
She got down after that and
Maddy played by herself for a bit.

Stroller's.

Last week I came home from work one day
to Greg asking if I could thread my sewing machine
because he couldn't get it re-threaded..... Huh??

The girls sit on their baby strollers and had ruined the seats.
We asked Gwen for some extra canvas
fabric that she may have had.
I had been putting off making the seats because
I thought it would be kind of hard.
I guess Greg just proved me wrong!!
My husband, the seamster.
I love it!
Thanks, babe!

New seats.

The reason they were broken in the first place..

The Girls Rooms.

I was off the week after Labor Day and Greg
was off for a few of the days so we got busy painting!!!
We still have two boxes of trinkets and such for
the girls rooms, so that is missing,
but the rooms are almost finished!!

Maddy.

Clare.

Update:

I am getting ready to start making Clares
window treatment with the help of Gwen,
so that will be different and then I need to get
started on her quilt, both will show where we
got the color for her stripes.

Labor Day Weekend ~ Camping At Stoneman Lake.

Our second camping trip this summer was up
near Flagstaff and Greg got to come this time.
YEAH!!!
We were planning to leave Friday night but
Greg got out of a training a bit later than expected,
so we left bright and early Saturday morning
and were in camp by 9:30 am.

Driving up.

The kiddos in camp (before Leah got there).
Maddy, Zoey, Clare and Kellen.

Boys being boys.

Grandma and her Grand daughters.

Clare loved Kellens quad!
She spent quite a bit of time sitting on it.

Grandpa thought she was cute.

Zoey and Maddy on the quad.

We went for a nice ride on Grandpas rhino....

Heading down a dirt road.....

Greg and Clare.

Mom and Maddy in her special goggles.

A cool old ranch house.
We walked through part of it, but finished by walking
on the outside since the floor was barely there.

Lunch after the ride.
Such loungers!

Kellen and Maddy.

Phoenix Children's Museum

A few weeks ago I got an e-mail from our cousin Meagan
including FREE tickets to the children's museum.
We were really excited because we had been wanting to take
the girls, and it would have cost $44.
So we were very happy with free!
We got there right at 9 am when it opens
and began to explore.....

The air funnel.

Clare doing a puzzle.

Shopping.

Cooking.

The huge tree house thing.

I made Greg take them up since there
was no way I was climbing through it all!

Clare quickly got brought back down to me
and he and Maddy headed up to the tub!

It was fun, but very busy and lots too look at.
