Thanksgiving

For my first Thanksgiving, I got to
go spend lots of time with family.
We went over to my Uncle John's house
for our first meal and I had a lot of fun!!

My first taste of turkey and some mashed potatoes.

I liked it.

I got to pet one of his horses and I didn't get
scared at all. I reached right out to touch him.

After our bellies were full we went for our annual walk
around the neighborhood, I had all sorts of fun with my Dad.

He showed me a dandelion.

Next we went to see some more
family for our second meal of the day.

My Auntie Mimi gave me some
pumpkin pie and I liked that too!

I also really had a good time with the milk cap.

Why is everybody looking at me??

Auntie B and me.

My family.

I'm going to be an Heiress one day

Not to the Mike and Ike guys, but to my Grandpa and Uncle Michael......
Scala's Italian Ice!!!!

Brushin, brushin, brushin

Since I have two teeth now, its time for me to start brushin!!

See how hard I work at it.

In the Army!!!

My crawling situation has improved here at
boot camp. I have gone from a scoot to a pretty
good army crawl and can move pretty quickly from
place to place. My Drill Instructors are pretty impressed
it seems. Time for rations and bunk time...gotta go!

It's a Hard Knock Life...

Being a baby can be quite hard work!
What with all the crawling, crying, eating
and playing....sometimes you just gotta
squeeze in a little power nap when
you can! Even if it IS mid-meal.

Babbling Fool!

I have been a babbling fool lately!
I figured out I can make all kinds of different
noises and I like to talk to my Mom and Dad.
Unfortunately, they seemed to have lost their
decoder book, so it doesn't seem that they
understand me yet. We will have to work on that!

Babies, slides, balloons and apples.... all in Tucson.

I went to Tucson with my parents this weekend to meet my new friend Ethan (*sigh* he is so darn cute, I think I will try and marry him one day!) He lives in Denver and was down visiting his brand new cousin Andrew. I really wanted to get a picture with Andrew, but he was only 2 weeks old, so it was hard for me to get my hands on the little guy.

My Mom, me, Ethan and his mom Lindsay.

See how I like to hold his hand!

Later that day we went to a BBQ with a lot of little people running around, I was watching and learning a lot about how to play. I was the only girl there with all these boys, so I found a nice little chair to play on that sang to me.

Then my parents took me down the slide.  A lot. The slide was so much fun, I smiled and giggled the entire time!

Big smiles!

I am so proud of myself!

I got to take more pictures with Ethan and his Daddy. Ethan's dad Chris and my Dad are best friends since high school.

I was trying to be very gentle.

I didn't know what that thing in his mouth was because I have two thumbs that I suck on.

Here we all are!
Lindsay, Chris, Ethan (7 weeks), Madeleine (7 months), Greg, Courtney.

There were a few balloons floating around the house and when I saw the string I PULLED!!
When I learned that I could fling the balloon around, I went crazy and I hit my Mom in the head and me in the head a few times. I thought it was so funny!!

Since it was the weekend I got to read the Sunday paper with my Dad, as usual!!

We went to breakfast with our cousin's Jeremy, Gris and JD. It was the first time I had the chance to meet them, so it was lots of fun!! At The Good Egg, they give us little kids a small bowl of cheerios and a small bowl of sliced apples.... when I saw the apple I put it right in my mouth, but then I almost choked on it, so my Mom and Dad said I couldn't play with that anymore.
Apples in my mouth.

JD (17 months), Madeleine (7 months)

Life is a balancing act.

I like to balance on my arm with my feet up in the air.

The proof is in the tooth!!

Well, not only do I have one tooth coming in, but I have two!! My Mom says that my front teeth (top and bottom) normally come in as a pair, so I wasn't surprised.... my parents sure are excited though!

P.S.  Pardon my mood.... I am not always the happiest baby!

I have....

..... my first TOOTH!!!!
It isn't all the way out, but my Mom and Dad can feel the
sharp incisal edge to my tooth with their fingers.

Monkey you, monkey me!

My Daddy had a Sock Monkey doll when he was
growing up, so my Gigi made me one too.
I've had it since before I was born and today
I looked at it a little differently, because my
Sock Monkey is on my jammies too!!!

What the Monk?

Sock Monkey is okay in my book!

Relaxing before bedtime

After my bath each night, I go outside
on my swing and relax with my parents.
