When I opened Maddy's door this

morning she was still laying in her bed.

Usually she is up and has every book

on the bed with her or every

stuffed animal on the floor.

She reminded me of that scene in ET.

Clare is crawling ALL over the place!!

It rained a lot last night

and Greg was at work.

He and another officer had to help

someone and he got soaked!

He was wet all night up past his

boots so they sat outside all day to dry.

When Greg brought them

in Mad had to put them on!

Saturday my sisters drove
down to spend the day with us!
We had lots of fun just hanging out....
we talked, had lunch and played some cards!

Pump It Up Autumn, I'm About To

This post is waaaay to long for the
1 1/2 that was spent at Pump It Up,
but the girls had a blast and well,

so did Sarah and I!!!

Happy 6 Months Clare Clare!!!

I cannot believe that six months
have passed since this little babe came
into our lives.... time really does fly.

We celebrated with cheerios!!!
Clare ate one.....

Six month check-up:
17.6 lbs ~ 79%
27 inches ~ 91%

Prescott

Over the weekend we headed up
to Prescott to grab some stuff from
the house and get out of the heat.
We had a nice relaxing weekend
in much cooler weather....
minus Clare not sleeping well
since she was not in her bed.
Ugh.
Thankfully she rebounded and has
been sleeping very well
since we've been home!

Snack time with Clifford.

Our neighborhood has a playground
right around the corner, so we took
walk and hung out there for a bit.





We headed in to town to have
a picnic at the courthouse....
right after we got set up and were
waiting for Greg to cross the street
with our food we got rained out!!
Started as a sprinkle and ended
with huge drops so we
ended up eating in the cafe.

We had a great time hanging out
with our friends, the Nolan's and Poling's!!

She Sits. She Scoots. She Scores!!

Clare is getting closer and closer
to sitting on her own.
She still leans too far forward, but
can straighten herself out for a few seconds.


She will be crawling before we know it!
While I was in the kitchen tonight,
Greg set her down on her
blanket and left the room.
When he came back she was
almost all the way in the kitchen!!

I am done feeding her.
The dogs wait under her because
they know the bowl and spoon
will soon be on the floor.

Happy 4th of July

Our 4th of July:

Mad helped Greg rake up the pods outside.

We took the girls to see Toy Story 3.
It was our first movie as
a family and it went fairly well...
Clare did awesome, even if I did
spend most of the movie standing
(good thing we sat in the back row)
It may have been a little too close to
Maddy's nap and because of that
she started to get a bit restless.
She pulled through though!!!
