Forgotten Pictures of Demolition

I forgot to add these images to the last post.

We now have plastic stapled to the ceiling

so random insulation pieces will stop falling and

to try and keep some of the heat in the house,

rather than the attic.

The wood is also gone, but that is where the island is going.

Demolition Part 2 !!!

Big Greg came over to help Greg take

down the drop ceiling in the kitchen last Monday.

Major progress was made that day!!

We returned that fan and got the same one,

only smaller with a 4" drop instead of a 12" drop.

Maddy and Clare

Clare finally got her BIG girl chair.

She loves it, of course!

She had taken over Maddy's chair these last few weeks.

Now we have two!

This is how I made dinner tonight.

Maddy brought Clare the computer and she

laid down to play with it, so Maddy went and got

her new Paddington book and laid down right next to her.

They stayed like this for quite awhile.

Demolition!!!

Greg got busy on his days off this week!!!

He removed our front door and installed a new one.

He removed all of the upper cabinets in the kitchen.

Removed interior french doors and

a very hard to remove built in hutch!

He also knocked down a few walls,

and removed the wood from the dining

room floor so we can have concrete poured

to make the floor one complete level surface.

I love my hard working man!!!

Door is off and prepping for the new one to be in stalled.

Zoo Date!

Yesterday we went to the zoo with

Trina, Max and Macy and

Erin and her little boy Jack.

It was a gorgeous day outside and we had fun!!

Valentine's Day

Last night Greg brought home some flowers for me

and a rose for each of the girls since he was working

late tonight and the girls wouldn't get to see him.

I got the girls a bunch of stuff from the

dollar bins at Target and the

Dollar Tree (my new favorite store!)

They loved it!!!

The Past Two Weeks.....

So I finally dug out the cable for the camera....

Here are the past two weeks:

Dad's house for dinner before Carlin headed

off to London and Grandpa couldn't wait

to get Maddy on the Rhino.

She was scared at first, but then she loved it!!

Ashton

This morning we got the news that Pooper had died in her sleep last night.

Greg got Pooper over the Christmas break his sophmore year at UA in January 1998. Pooper was a daddy's girl right until the end, she loved being with Greg and "Poopervising" when he was out in the yard, in the winter she would sleep under the covers right up next to him.

They loved each other.

We will all miss Ashton, she was a sweet dog... although a bit snotty at times and liked things HER way. But thats why we loved her so much.

*I have the best picture of Ashton that I wanted to put on here, but we have no pictures on our computer right now and our scanner isn't hooked up yet. I will post it soon.

We've Moved!

We have moved back to Phoenix.

For good.

Greg got on with Scottsdale back in December and

then we made an offer on a house and had to wait to close.

Well, we have closed and are now moved in and somewhat settled.

More importantly, we are all back together again!

Greg was missed by his 3 girls.

We have a lot we want/need to do to the house,

so keep your eye's open for before and after pictures.

We're excited to make the changes!
