Stump Removal

Today the 2 citrus stumps and 3 palm tree stumps were removed.

Oh. And the wall, too.

Preschool

Maddy starts preschool in August 3 days a week.

We thought it would be good to get her used to going,

so she is going to summer school at the preschool 2 days a week.

Tuesday was her first day and she did really good!!!

A little sad to be "left" there, but we keep reassuring her that

when we drop her off with her new friends we

will always come back to pick her up.

She did better on Thursday and we're hoping

for more of the same next week!!!

Autumn Came To Play!!!!!

Last week Autumn's baby brother, Dean, came

home and she got to come up to Phoenix to visit her Grandparents.

That means we got a few hours with her!!!

I only got a few pictures of the girls since they were keeping me busy!

They screamed and squealed the entire car ride.

They cooked.

They played Little People.

They stripped down to nothing and were running around

in the backyard on the splash pad, sliding down the slide

into the splash pad and filling buckets up at the water table

and dumping them out over and over!

Again, with these two, its like no time has passed at all.

Flooring

This is the tile that is going in the three bathrooms,

the kitchen and laundry room.

The small piece of wood is a very similar sample

color of the cabinets that we ordered.

The other three are the wood floor samples that

we have narrowed it down to...

Hall Floor Repair

Our house has two additions on either end.

The end that has a bedroom and bathroom slopes

and when the tile was removed it was

really bad so Greg and Big Greg put a leveler on the floor.

The stuff basically flows until it stops and makes the floor level!!

Hall Bath Update

The tile is up in the shower, next is to tile the

wall and then grout, grout, grout!!!

Last month we took the girls in for duel check-up and vaccines.

Here are the stats:

Maddy's 3 year check up

39" ~ 90%

35 lbs ~ 95%

Clare's 15mo check up

31 1/2" ~ 75%

28.7 lbs ~ 95%

The Front Hall Bathroom

The hall bathroom is moving right along!!!

Once this one is done we will move on to the back hall bath.

The master is a work in progress....

Kitchen Wall

The last of the walls in the kitchen have finally been put back up!!!

The sink was unhooked and removed so the

electrical could be finished and so Greg could run

some water over the the fridge for water and ice.

Yep. We haven't had ice since January and

we've been paying for our water for just as long.

Old cabinets are gone and my sink is now

on saw horses until our new cabinets come in.

Dry-wall up and taped. Mudding is started.

Looks like fun, huh?

The island wall is being built.

The cabinets are going on the inside of the

wall and the wall is there so we are able to

extend our counter out a bit further.

It's gonna be heavy, we're doing concrete counters!
