Teeter For Two

Yesterday we were hanging out
on the patio after lunch and Maddy
carried the teeter totter over from the
other side and asked to teeter with Clare!
So cute!

Pillowcase Dress

I found this pillowcase at the
Goodwill and made a dress for Maddy.
Clare is going to get some cute comfy
pants from the other pillowcase.


When Greg woke up I asked Maddy
if we could try it on for him and
she looked right at Greg and said she
didn't want to put the dress on again.
I swear she hated it.
Luckly, she wore it the next
day and didn't complain at all!

Oh, Clare Clare.

Maddy loves to have
yogurt in the morning.
Anytime for that matter,
but always in the morning.
Yesterday, she left her yogurt unattended
for a little bit to long and
our other yogurt lover got it!!!
She had her back to us for the
longest time and we thought she was
munching on her cheerios.
Nope, she turned around and
this is what we saw:

Now that Miss Clare loves to pull
herself up, this has become a favorite.
Probably because it is the most sturdy.
That and she can bang on it
and the beads shake all over!

To Market, To Market

I found a blog that has some
tutorials on how to make some
super cute toddler clothes.
My favorite is the market
skirt with pockets....
I didn't add the pockets on
this one, but I will on the next!
I found a bed skirt at the Goodwill and
thought it would make a cute skirt,
so I made one for Maddy!!

Saturday Night On The Patio

Things these two were
yelling at people over the wall:

"Boo Hawkeyes"
"Go Cats"
"Bear Down Cats"

We live close enough to campus that
when its a good game we have people
parking up and down our street and
we sit and watch while enjoying
the TV on the patio.

And some otter pops.

I had to put this chair away
right after I got it out since Clare kept
crawling to it and climbing up to a stand.....
she did fall and hit her head hard on the tile.

Happy 8th Month Clare Clare!!!

My Sweet Baby Clare is 8 months old.
Time is going by so fast but we are
making sure to enjoy
every minute with her!!!

Clare has turned into a BIG eater.
She loves, deli meat, cottage cheese,
yogurt, pancakes, noodles,
waffles, scrambled eggs,
bananas and avocado......
to name a few!

She is the fastest army
crawler in the west!

Loves her big sissy.

Looooves her Mommy more
than the world (true story, people!)

Daddy makes her shy and
smiley when he just looks at her.

She is trying to wave when we say "Hi" to her....

And just today she sat up on her own twice!!
She was on her belly and then
she was sitting up giving
us that sweet smile!!

We are all in love, how could
you not be with a face like that!?

Weekend In Phoenix

We were in Phoenix this past
weekend for Greg to take a test for
Scottsdale PD and we stayed
with Grammy at her house.
