Clare Is Brushing Her Teeth!!

Maddy has always loved brushing her teeth, Clare hates it.

Always has..... until today!

I had already tackled her to get her teeth brushed

and I was brushing mine when she pointed to her mouth,

so I stuck my toothbrush in there and brushed away!

She loved it!

I tried it again before bed and go the same reaction from her!

Tomorrow we are getting battery operated toothbrushes for both girls!

Hopefully this means no more battle with Clare!

Future Gymnast??

Arizona Sunray's has open gym for kids a few days week

during the school year, so this was our first time there.

There is a bounce house and we can use all the gym equipment.

Clare loved it!!!

She loved running on the trampoline

runs and she really loved the bars.

She would run over and pick her feet up

and swing back and forth.

We stayed for 1 1/2 hours!!

The best part is its right next door to Maddy's preschool,

so we go while she is at school.

I can't wait for a week when there is no school

on Fridays, because Maddy would love it, too!!

Another trip to the Dentist!

Maddy had another trip to Dr J's office so

that Elena could clean her teeth.

She did awesome and has very healthy teeth and gums!!

Obviously.

School days.

Monday was blue day.

Wear something blue and bring a picture of something blue.

Wednesday Maddy had the color can.

She had to bring a few things from home

to show the class that fit in the can, her color was red!

She brought Elmo, some play food that was

red and a picture of her Baby wearing a read

heart sweater out of the American Girl Catalog.

Girlies.

The girls have been getting along very nicely lately....

when Maddy isn't pushing Clare off of the couch.

In the fort we were playing in one night.

Maddy kept call the fort her forklift. Ha!

House Update

The girls rooms have the baseboard, crown

and now the shelves up on the walls.

Greg is going to caulk everything and

then its painting time!!!

First Day of Preschool ~ St. Mark

Our baby girl is officially in school.

I can't believe how fast time is going by!!

Maddy went to "summer school" for a few weeks during

the summer and a week of VBS so she was excited

to go back to school and see Mrs. Hulsey.

She regularly tells us that she loves Mrs. Hulsey.

I'm glad we had a few trial weeks this summer because dropping

her off on Monday was a piece of cake!!

When Greg picked her up she said that she had so much fun!!

even started to hang on the wall.....

San Diego

We headed over to San Diego for our usual vacation

2 weeks ago and got to spend 7 days days on the beach.

It was unusually chilly that week,

one day it never got above 65!!

Others were warmer, just not as warm as usual.

Here goes......

Straight out of the car to the sand and water!

Maddy is excited, Clare is unsure.

Still unsure.

And very tired since she was awake the entire drive over.

It was awesome.

The next morning we went for a walk,

but didn't get too far since the girls wanted to play in the sand.

They had fun running around!

It was pretty funny!

One day Greg and I took the girls up to the

Scripps Aquarium in La Jolla, just like we did last year.

That afternoon was a nice one so we

actually put our suits on and went down to the water.

luckily they still fit so we got some this year!!

We went over to go sailing on Grandpas boat

(something that Maddy talks about year round)

Something broke on Grandpas boat so he borrowed

one from the marina for the girls!
