We headed over to San Diego for our usual vacation
2 weeks ago and got to spend 7 days days on the beach.
It was unusually chilly that week,
one day it never got above 65!!
Others were warmer, just not as warm as usual.
Here goes......
Straight out of the car to the sand and water!
Maddy is excited, Clare is unsure.
Still unsure.
And very tired since she was awake the entire drive over.
It was awesome.

Clare loves anything smaller than her and Ella was no exception!
The next morning we went for a walk,
but didn't get too far since the girls wanted to play in the sand.
They had fun running around!

she would talk bubbles would come out of her mouth.
It was pretty funny!
We had a mini photoshoot:
Maddy (3 1/2), Ella (6mo) and Clare (18mo).

One day Greg and I took the girls up to the
Scripps Aquarium in La Jolla, just like we did last year.

That afternoon was a nice one so we
actually put our suits on and went down to the water.

Last year Gigi made the girls these dresses,
but we never got picture in them....
luckily they still fit so we got some this year!!
We went over to go sailing on Grandpas boat
(something that Maddy talks about year round)
Something broke on Grandpas boat so he borrowed
one from the marina for the girls!

We spend an early afternoon at Seaport Village
and took some funny pirate pictures of the girls!!

Looks like fun! Love the one of you and Clare afraid of the waves and the girls with their heads together digging for crabs.
Oh I love all of these pictures! I've never vacationed in San Diego, but have always wanted to!
autumn just had a nightmare about crabs! We were up all night...I don't think I can show her that picture. Looks like such fun!
