Big Girl Bed

Today we went to get the rail for my big girl bed.
When we got home, my Dad put it together
and my Mom made the bed.
Then I helped my Mom carry some of the
things I sleep with in my crib into my new BIG girl room.
My Mom set my bed up just like my crib.


** Madeleine went right down in the
new bed and we both tucked her in and
gave her lots of animals to love with during the night.
This picture was taken about 20 minutes
after she went down and she is already out like a light!!
We are super proud and couldn't be happier about it!
We won't be surprised if she wakes up and
cries in the middle of the night since
she is in a new room,
but even if that happens I bet it is only for tonight!
We love you Maddy Girl!

Carving And Decorating Pumpkins

Today was the day to decorate pumpkins at my house.
I wasn't in the greatest mood,
but my parents thought this would
be fun and help my mood a bit.

Boy were they wrong!

I sat with my Dad for about 2 seconds,
and then my Mom got stickers for my
pumpkin and that didn't last long either.
So my Dad finished without me and
my Mom finished without me.
I was in the living room reading and playing by myself.

What Does An Owl Say?

Sticker Cards

Last weekend when Gigi came to visit,
she brought me some sticker Halloween cards.
So today I put some stickers in my
new sticker book and then I got to
decorate some cards for my friends Autumn and Iris.
I'm going to give them the cards at story time today!

Winter... Almost

It is cold today!
My Mom and Dad knew it was
going to be cold last night,
so I got to sleep in my winter PJ's.
I was so excited!!


PS. My Mom cut my hair last night in the tub.
It was getting long and scraggly!

Tuesday's Zoo's Day's

Today I went to the zoo, as I do every week.
Today was different though....
When we got there, it was all set up
still from the weekend event,
so we go to play with pumpkins and hay
(I didn't like the hay on my hands!)
Then when we were looking at the lion,
who always lays in the same spot,
he got up and walked over to us,
I was excited!!
Then the polar bear was out
and he said "Hi" to Autumn and I.
Then while we were playing in the grass area,
they set up the armadillo exhibit.
One of my favorite books is Goodnight Gorilla,
in the book they say goodnight to an
armadillo so I was super excited to see him!!
I gave him a few little pets and tried to
get Autumn to pet him, but she said no way!!

Mimi's Lunch Date

The reason we were in Phoenix was
because my Mom had to go to the dentist.
After that we were going to head home,
but decided to stop and have lunch with
my Mom's friend Stacy and her little guy Josh.
They always go to Mimi's Cafe when they
get together, so that's where we went.
I was a BIT of a turd since I was tired and all.

Sunday In Phoenix

On Sunday I drove up to Phoenix to spend the
day with my Grammy, Auntie Mimi and my Great Grandma.
My Mom thought I would nap on the way up,
but I didn't.
Then my Mom thought I would nap at Grammy's,
but I didn't.
Surprisingly I wasn't in too bad of a mood,
although I did go to bed at 5:20pm and
woke up at 6:40am.



I drank iced tea with Grammy.
Fed my Auntie Mimi some snacks.

My Auntie showed me how to take pictures with her camera.

I shared lots of cat toys with my Great Grandma.

Saturday Afternoon

Saturday was a busy day!
My Dad and Grandpa worked almost all
day getting up the molding in my
room and Clare's room.... we are almost done!

After that we were having some friends
over to eat and watch another UA football game.
Before our friends got here, my Dad pulled me in my wagon
all around the patio and up and down the street.
I love it when he goes fast!

A Little Hand Holding

Today has been declared National Hand Holding Day.

Autumn and I are what you might call pro's

at holding each others hands now!!

We held hands inside and all down the walk.

Rainbow Smile

Today I took a late nap because my
buddy Samuel came over to play,
so we were in a hurry to get to story time...
my Mom and I got to go to McDonald's for lunch.
I love me a cheeseburger!
I got a happy meal with a cool Barbie
book that has straps like a purse.
I like it a lot, so I think I am going
make it my official sticker book!!

I am supposed to be holding up the
book to show with a smile,
but I am just smiling... and what a cute smile it is!

My Mom thinks I have rainbow eye's like my Uncle.
That's all she sees in this picture.

Just Another Zoo Trip

I went to the zoo with my friends
Samuel and Autumn this morning.
I had lots of fun and a few melt downs.....
who knows why though.

BBQ With Friends

Last night we had a BBQ and Autumn
came over with her parents, Sarah and Chris.
We had lots of fun since it had been
a whole day since I had seen my BFF.

We teetered.

We ate dinner together.

Pushed the wagon around.

Fed each other otter pops
(I stabbed myself in the eye with
my pop right after this, it hurt!)

Looked over the wall since our parents
are meanies and wouldn't let us down the steps!

Thanks for coming over, we had lots of fun...
even with the melt downs at the end!! : )

The Great Diaper Debacle

Pumpkin Time!!!

This morning I got to go and pick out some pumpkins.
I love them!
I point to the decorations in my house
all day and I was super excited when I walked
in and saw ALL of the pumpkins for me to choose from.
I got to pick out a few of my very own
and put them in the wagon, all by myself.
